FUN Sequential Pictures are useful in so many ways! For example, the clinician could first remove all the picture cards from the SpeechPage, and presents them one sequence set at a time in a mixed order to the client. The client then is prompted to place them back on the SpeechPage in the proper order. Discussion of what is happening in the sequence, and why only one specific order is correct could follow. Numbers 1-4 are labeled on each holding area on the SpeechPage to assist with understanding the order direction.
(You may choose to use less than all four pictures for those clients working at a different level.)
Asking the client to say sentences of the sequences they create may be useful with goals involving various sentence level skills! For example, if the client is working on a past tense verb goal, you may ask the client to describe each of the four pictures of a sequence in a sentence as if it happened yesterday (or as if it is happening right now, or as it will happen tomorrow).
ALSO THESE CAN BE FUN PROMPTS TO ELICIT SPONTANEOUS SPEECH SAMPLES FOR ANY APPROPRIATE GOAL!
